Hi, I'm Hari Kumar Thapa — an SEO Expert and long-term investor. I built and maintain this calculator independently, as a side project born from my own need for a better way to model dividend growth.

Our Data & Methodology

Trust in the numbers matters as much as the tool itself, so here's exactly how the data behind your projections is sourced and kept current:

• Share price: Pulled daily via API, so your starting point always reflects a current market price.
• Dividends: SCHD distributes quarterly (March, June, September, December). We check for new dividend data via API daily and cross-check figures against Schwab's official published fund data before they're reflected in the calculator.
• Independence: This calculator is built and maintained independently — not by Charles Schwab Asset Management or any brokerage. Because we have no affiliation with SCHD or Schwab, we have no incentive to skew projections more favorably than the underlying data supports. Our only goal is an accurate, useful forecast.
